Bill 'Em All is run by Landmine Spring LLC. This page explains what we collect when you use the app at app.bill-em-all.com or our mobile apps, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect what it takes to run your account, we don't sell it, and we don't show ads.
What we collect
- Your account: your email address, a password (stored hashed, never readable) and your display name.
- What you put in: your business details, clients and their contact details, projects, time entries, invoices and team members. You control this data; we store it to run the app for you.
- Billing: if you subscribe to Pro, Stripe handles your card. We never see or store card numbers.
- On your device: the app keeps your sign-in session and a few preferences (your album, last-used client) in your browser's local storage. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
- How you found us: this website remembers, in your browser, the first page of it you landed on and the site that linked you there. If you sign up within 30 days, those two things are saved with your account, so we can tell which pages are worth making more of. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you sign up.
- Visits to this website: bill-em-all.com counts page views with Vercel Web Analytics: which page, the site that linked to it, and your country, browser, operating system and type of device. It uses no cookies and doesn't identify you or follow you across sites or from one day to the next. The web app counts views of its sign-in and sign-up pages the same way, and nothing after you sign in. The mobile apps don't use it.
Who processes it
We use a small number of services to run Bill 'Em All. Each only gets what it needs:
- Supabase: the database and sign-in for your account.
- Resend: delivers account emails such as password resets and, on Pro, the invoice and reminder emails you send. It receives the recipients' addresses, the message and any attached invoice PDF.
- Vercel: hosts this website and the web app, and counts visits to this website.
- Stripe: processes Pro subscription payments. If a business connects its own Stripe account, Stripe also processes their clients' invoice payments under that business's agreement with Stripe; we see the payment's amount and status, never card or bank details.
- PDFShift: renders invoice PDFs when you download or email one; it receives that invoice's contents.
How we use it
To run the app, keep your account secure, send the emails you need (like password resets) and the invoice emails and reminders you set up, and answer you when you write to us. We don't sell your data or share it for advertising.
Keeping and deleting it
Your data stays as long as your account does. To export or delete your account and its data, email hello@bill-em-all.com and we'll take care of it within 30 days. Invoices you've already sent to clients are, of course, also in their hands.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or to object to how it's used. Email us and we'll help.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and tell account owners by email.
