Sell 5 hours of bookkeeping a month. Every reconciliation draws it down, so you see which clients have outgrown their package.
Clean-up and backlog jobs go on an hourly project, billed from the timer at the rate you set for that client.
Price the year-end or the tax return as a flat fee and track the hours to see if the price is right.
On Pro, export your invoices as a file QuickBooks Online imports, with each line mapped to the product or service you choose.
Bill exact time or round to 6, 10, 15, 30 or 60 minutes. Every invoice line shows the hours, rate and service date.
Reports show earned, invoiced and collected for any range, plus how long each open invoice has been waiting.

Time reconciliations, payroll and calls against the plan. Extra work goes on an hourly project.

On Pro, export to QuickBooks Online, email the invoice, and let reminders do the chasing.
All of that is free. Pro is $5.99 per team a month and adds emailed invoices, reminders, online payments and branded PDFs.
On Pro, it exports invoices as a CSV for QuickBooks Online's invoice import: one row per line, with the client, dates, PO number, notes and the QuickBooks product or service for each line. Sales tax is left out of the export, so set it up in QuickBooks if you charge it.
